Guides get new centreGirl Guides in the Oxfordshire area are benefiting from a brand new training centre supplied by Wernick Buildings and sited alongside their existing campsite at Stanton St John. As well as being used as a residential centre for the 6,000 members of Girlguiding Oxfordshire, it will also be used for training leaders and as a meeting place for local and county groups. The building will additionally house the County Archive Store. Keith Roberts of Roberts Consulting, the agent for Guiding Oxfordshire, wrote saying, “I take this opportunity to thank you for the way in which Wernick Buildings has undertaken the design and construction of the New Jubilee House, giving Oxfordshire Girl Guiding a building which they can be proud of for many years."
